This week we are having our fall gospel meeting. The theme of the meeting is "Jesus is the Answer!". Our special guest speaker is Robert Hatfield. Robert is a pulpit minister at Henderson church of Christ, Founder/Director of The Light Network, and author of “A Guide to Your First 90 Days as a Christian from The Light Network. 

 

"Will only perfect people go to HEAVEN?" - Romans 3:21-26

  • Salvation is the subject - (3:21-22)
  • Three words describe salvation - (3:24-25):
    • Justified - (3:24)
    • Redemption - (3:24)
    • Propitiation - (3:25)
• Everyone stands in equal need for salvation - (3:23).
• Salvation is independent of perfect obedience to the law - (3:21-22).
• Faith is the condition of salvation - (3:22, 25, 26)
• Salvation is a gift, made possible by Christ's death - (3:24-25)
• Salvation is a testament to and only to God's greatness - (3:25-26)
