Summary
Covers the time of the Babylonian conquest of Judah and Jerusalem.
Message is for the captives of Judah living in exile in Babylon
The necessary steps taken by God to correct his disobedient people and the future hope of Israel.
Firsthand account of what God told Ezekiel to speak to the captives of Judah living in Babylon.
Most of the book focuses on God’s punishment of Judah and other nations, but also provides hope for the captives so that they would return to God and not lose hope entirely.
The last portion of Ezekiel looks forward to the restoration of Israel and to the glory and blessings of the everlasting covenant God will establish with His people.
