The Case for Memorization

 

I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. -Psalms 37:25

 

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. -1 Peter 5:10

 

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. -Psalms 23:6

 

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. -Philippians 1:6

 

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. -Nahum 1:7
